The City mouse said, “This food is not good, and your house is not good. Why do you live in a hole in the field You should come and live in the city. You would live in a nice house made of stone. You would have nice food to eat. You must come and see me at my house in the city.”

Do you know why some animals are in danger of dying out Read and find out.
Many animals in the world are in danger of dying out. This is because people are destroying their homes. When this happens, the animals cannot find enough food. For example, people use bamboo from bamboo forests for building. Pandas eat bamboo. Therefore, they no longer have enough to eat. In Hong Kong we are short of land. Therefore, people take land from the sea. This means that the pink dolphins around Hong Kong have less space to live in. People also cause a lot of pollution. Wild animals cannot live in polluted places. Some people like to buy young animals like baby orangutans as pets. Although baby orangutans are small and cute, when they grow up they become too large to keep in a house. But by then it is too late to teach the orangutans how to live in the jungle. Do you enjoy seeing different kinds of animals We need to protect wild animals and their homes so that our children can still see many different kinds of animals in the future.

One day, they were playing in a forest when a wolf came running at them. The monkey ran away with the younger monkey in a hurry and left the older alone. She climbed up a tree and held the younger in her arms.
After some time, the wolf went away slowly. The monkey took the baby out of her arms. She was surprised to see that the baby had died, for the baby was held in arms too highly. Very long time later, she remembered to look for the older baby. The older baby was hiding in a wood. So he saved himself.
