Imagine you are looking at Wang Ximeng's famous painting from the Song Dynasty(960-1279), A Panorama of Rivers and Mountains. Suddenly, its blue rivers jump, and its green mountains move. Music brings you into the painting as it comes to life and shares its history. This is what happens in Poetic Dance: The Journey of a Legendary Landscape Painting, a dance drama (舞剧) based on the beautiful piece of art.
The performance is now running across China. China's Poetic Dance creates a mix of past and present, bringing historical art together with modern dance and visual effects (视觉效果). The show is all done through the power of movement and often stillness (静止). In the show, the dancers even arch (弓起) their backs and wave their flowing costumes to create the movements of the rivers. In one scene, the dancers even become huge rocks.
"I hope our dance can be performed on more and bigger stages to show more people all over the world a beautiful China with a mix of old and new," says Meng Qingyang, the lead dancer of the Poetic Dance. "It is not only a drama but also an 'exhibition (展览) of beauty'. Huge mountains and rivers are coming to life!" After the dance show, an excited audience Mo Weisha wrote a review on social media. Moreover, many parents also brought their children to enjoy the great show.
In all, this dance is one of the most beautiful shows in CCTV Spring Gala. The creativity behind the movement speaks to us in a poetic way. It is a form of expression which is seldom seen in films. There is a close relationship between the performer and the audience. That's the true joy of this dance.
"The dance shows the process of how the painting is done. It's not to tell people how great the painting is, but to improve people's understanding of traditional Chinese culture." says Xie Suhao, who plays the character,"It also introduces lots of traditional techniques (技艺) like paintbrush making to the audience, in a way to make people around the world more interested in traditional Chinese art."
19. What can we learn from Paragraph 2
A. The show has nothing to do with the Chinese art in history.
B. It's easy for the dancers to express the spirit of the painting.
C. The show brings present art with modern dance and visual effects.

I stood by the window and looked outside. The sky was gray and the ground was covered with snow. I noticed a woman crossing the street wearing a thick scarf. She looked cold and unhappy.
The morning was perfect for reading. I tuned on the light, and lay in my bed with a book. Suddenly, the phone rang. After a minute, I heard my mum said, "Sure! Marina would love that. See you soon."

down so I slowly put on my blue sweater. Soon, the doorbell rang. Uncle Sam came and asked, "Ready, Marina "

We crossed the street and walked down the steps of the station to catch the train to Sparrow Hills. Soon we got on the train. It was warmer on the train and my body started to relax.
"Can we just stay on the train " I said as the train stopped. Uncle Sam softly pulled me up and said, "You will miss all the fun."
Outside, the wind was blowing strongly. The trees were shining and they swung in the wind.
"I don't know how long I can stay out here," I said as we started to walk uphill. He pulled me closer to the trees and said, "Listen!"
At first, I heard only the wind. Then came a jingling and chiming. "That's the music in winter,” My uncle said. I pulled my hat up to free my ears. The branches (树枝) sounded like hundreds of bells ringing, jingling and chiming. I was surprised and I stood still, looking at the icy branches swinging in the wind. Then we climbed to the top of Sparrow Hills and looked down. The snow-covered trees made buildings appear brighter. Then the sun broke through the clouds.
"The sun is shining!" I shouted. Uncle Sam smiled and said, "The sun is always shining. You just need to climb high enough to see it."

Everybody hates that feeling when you spend three weeks reading a book, and a month later somebody asks you about it and you can't remember a thing you read. It makes you wonder why you wasted a couple of hours on the words that didn't stick.
There are some effective (有效的) ways to learn. And when I say "to learn effectively", what I mean is to not just build up knowledge, but to be able to apply (应用) that knowledge effectively at some point in the future. By this definition, most of the courses people spend money on is not learning. Something is not truly learned until it changes you in some way.
Memory works based on relevance. We only remember what our brain has considered important to our own lives. If you don't find a way to make it relevant to you and your well-being in some way, your brain will conveniently forget it. You can do this on your own. When you come across something interesting in a book, write down its application or relevance to something in your life - how you can use the idea, how it explains something in your past, how it can help with your problems, etc.
People believe they have to read everything. Line by line, one after another. This is not only not true, but it's often a waste of time and energy. When you buy a book, you're not buying the words but buying the useful ideas. The point of a book is to collect the information that is relevant and important to you, not to finish it or to understand every word. What matters is the principle or key idea. Once you've received that principle or idea, there is no reason to feel obligated to sit there and read the rest.
Everything you read should be questioned. You should question the writer's ideas, whether they're explaining information correctly, whether they're overlooking something. When reading something I agree with, I'll ask myself, "Is it possible that this could be wrong " Everything should be taken with a grain of salt, for the simple reason that not everything is certain. And it's the ability to solve the problems about these uncertainties effectively, not the ability to memorize a lot of facts and numbers.
27. According to the writer, effective learning_______________.
A. is a practical way to have good feelings
B. helps you explain and remember difficult words
C. happens when knowledge changes you in some way
D. is the main purpose of the courses people spend money on
28.What does the writer suggest when we learn something new
A. Read line by line to receive useful ideas.
B. Build connections between books and our person life.
C. Repeat and rethink information to deepen our memory.
D. Keep asking questions to understand the writers' opinions.
29. The underlined word "obligated" probably means “_______________."
A. interested B. worried C. relaxed D.forced
30. Which of the following would be the best title for the passage
A. How to Ask the Right Questions
B. How to Become a Better Learner
C. How to Memorize Things Effectively
D. How to Build Relevance in Your Life
