Last year in early summer, I was walking up the hill to my house when I saw two birds, each about 60 centimetres tall, standing on the path. They didn’t seem to notice me until I was right in front of them and then they at once moved quickly into the bushes.
I was quite excited by the idea of two birds making a nest in my front yard, although I didn’t really expect them to because wild birds don’t usually make a nest so close. A few weeks later, the birds appeared again. I found them crouching beside a tree off to the side of the path. As I moved nearer to them, I imagined that they would run away like they did last time. Luckin Coffee has worked with Kweichow Moutai, the maker of China’s national liquor baijiu, for an unusual offering: alcoholic lattes(拿铁).

The oil paper umbrella is a traditional Chinese handcraft (手工艺品). It has a history of over 1,000 years in China. In early Tang Dynasty, it was introduced to Japan and Korea, so it was called the “Tang Umbrella”. Later oil paper umbrellas were introduced to other Asian countries, such as Vietnam, Thailand and Laos, and each had its own style. Yuhang in Hangzhou is known for making oil paper umbrellas for more than 230 years. They are mainly made of skin paper, bamboo and Tung oil. Last year in early summer, I was walking up the hill to my house when I saw two birds, each about 60 centimetres tall, standing on the path. They didn’t seem to notice me until I was right in front of them and then they at once moved quickly into the bushes.

Luckin Coffee has worked with Kweichow Moutai, the maker of China’s national liquor baijiu, for an unusual offering: alcoholic lattes(拿铁).

The oil paper umbrella is a traditional Chinese handcraft (手工艺品). It has a history of over 1,000 years in China. In early Tang Dynasty, it was introduced to Japan and Korea, so it was called the “Tang Umbrella”.
