书面表达参考范文:
Dear Alex,
I’m writing to tell you something about the sports meeting that just ended in our
school.
During the sports meeting, we witnessed many exciting moments, such as the
relay race where teams competed fiercely, and the high jump where athletes soared
through the air. The audience was also actively involved, cheering and shouting for
their favorite teams and athletes.
I hope you could have a chance to participate in our sports meeting and
experience the excitement and passion firsthand. I believe it would be a forgettable
experience for you.
Yours,
Li Hua

读后续写
Paragraph 1:
Mrs. Cleaver spoke to the store owner Ronald about Sandra. Deeply touched by
Sandra’s enormous capacity for hard work, Ronald decided to offer this diligent girl
an opportunity to apply for his Education Foundation. “Your story reminds me of the
days when I was young, doing the tough work and striving for my dream. And I really
hope I can do something to make your dream come true,” said Ronald genuinely.
“That is so nice of you to give me such a great chance,” Sandra thanked Ronald with
her hands trembling, tears brimming in her eyes.
Paragraph 2:
Learning that Ronald allowed her to apply for a scholarship, Sandra couldn’t
believe her ears. She dashed to Mrs. Cleaver to confirm whether it was a dream. “No.
It’s a dream coming true,” beamed Mrs. Cleaver, casting her an encouraging look.
Finally, luck befell this ill-fated but optimistic girl. After a few weeks, she was
provided with a full scholarship for her medical school. After the despairing darkness
finally came broad daylight. Odds might not be in our favor sometimes, but as long as
we hold on with resilience, misfortune can be a blessing in disguise.

Celebrations include Tai Chi displays and free classes in most participating cities
around the world.
Tai Chi is not used for self-defence, but is instead practiced for health reasons.
Doctors say it has benefits for those who have heart and blood pressure problems.
Tai Chi is famous around the world and its followers do their morning slow
practices in parks. Traditionalists say that Tai Chi is a mixture of self-defence and
health and that these represent the two opposing forces of yin and yang. A form of
Tai Chi with just 42 movements, called wushu, was a sport in the 11th Asian
Games in 1990. There are attempts to make it an Olympic event.

为电动车太贵了不值得买。故选 D。
30.推理判断题。根据第四段中的“As well as development on the road, electric
vehicles are taking to the seas and skies. Electric boats are among the oldest methods
of electric travel, having enjoyed several decades of popularity from the late 19th to
the early 20th century before petrol-powered outboard motors took over. Now, the
global drive for renewable energy sources is bringing electric boats back. Steps
towards electric air travel are also being made, with Airbus and NASA among the
organizations developing and testing battery-powered planes. (除了在道路上的进步,

33.细节理解题。根据第二段“UK initiative 5G RuralFirst launched a smartphone app
in March called Me+Moo, which lets farmers track a "connected" cow and receive
daily updates on the animal's health and behavior. The system, which is being tested
on cows at the Agri﹣Epi Center in Somerset, England, is funded in part by UK
government and supported by the tech company Cisco (CSCO). The cows wear 5G
﹣connected collars that send data to the app on everything from what they're eating
to how they're sleeping.”

In 2017, another 5G RuralFirst project became the
first in the world to successfully plant, tend and harvest a crop without a single human
stepping foot in the field. Autonomous Automatic tractors sowed the seeds, drones
with sensors monitored the crops, and smaller machines took samples from fields to
assess what fertilizers and pesticides to apply.”可知,2017年,另一个 5G RuralFirst
项目成为世界上第一个成功种植、照料和收获作物的项目,没有一个人踏入田间。
自动拖拉机播种种子,无人机用传感器监测作物,小型机器从田间采集样本,评

Carol-Anne O’Callaghan, a former teacher from Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, has fought hard to protect ancient oaks near her home, which she says are home to rare bats.
In February 2021, O’Callaghan was walking her dogs when she spotted yellow dots stuck on some of the 99 oak trees in a narrow country lane close to her home. The dots indicated trees marked for destruction. After she learned the trees would be felled as part of the HS2 high-speed railway works, she called the HS2 helpline and was told there was nothing that could be done as an over-road would be built. She gets choked up remembering the moment she realized many of them were to be cut down.
O’Callaghan loves that ancient line of oaks. They were planted in the 19th century. “My family and I would picnic under them,” she says, “climb them, have rope swings on them. The trees are amazing and beautiful and meant so much.” One of the last photos of her mother, taken shortly before she died, was of her sitting in a swing in their branches.
She noticed that on the other side of the lane, to the north, there were no ancient oaks. So she began campaigning to save the trees. With the help of her daughter, Blaize, she started a petition(请愿书), which went on to get nearly 43,000 signatures. “I saw someone passionate about giving a voice to those who don’t have one, someone not afraid of asking questions and calling out large, daunting businesses for doing the wrong thing,” says her neighbour Victoria.
Buckinghamshire Council has got involved, and the felling is paused. A final decision has yet to be made about the proposed over-road. “We’re optimistic that they’ll hear our argument and take the ecology of the lane into account,” says O’Callaghan. “We want them to put in a green crossing in the gaps between trees, for the bats, and we’d like the place to become a conservation area. For the trees and the
bats—this is what we are fighting for!”
What did the yellow dots on the oaks indicate
A.The narrow lane would be widened. B.These oaks would be cut down. C.Rare bats would get protected. D.A railway station would be built.
Why does O’Callaghan have deep feelings of the oaks
A.Due to the precious memories. B.Due to the natural beauty. C.Due to the oaks’ long history. D.Due to the diverse wildlife.
What kind of person is O’Callaghan
A.Creative. B.Humorous. C.Enthusiastic. D.Generous.
What is a direct result of O’Callaghan’s efforts
The felling has been put off.
The ecology is being improved.
The Council canceled the proposal.
The area becomes a reserve.

Vehicles on our roads are now mostly petrol and diesel (柴油) cars, but their days cannot continue for much longer. A recent university study found that current electric cars could be used for 87 percent of daily car journeys in the US. That figure could rise to 98 percent by 2020.
One hurdle to the widespread adoption of electric cars has been “range anxiety”
— drivers’ concerns about running out of electricity on a journey. While petrol stations are conveniently located across national road systems, the necessary network of electric charging stations is still being developed. That said, charging points are becoming increasingly common throughout the USA.
Attitudes towards electric vehicles have changed greatly over the last few years.
Not that long ago, electric cars were met with distrust, and their high prices drove customers away. Thanks to improvements in battery capacity, recharging times, performance and price, the current generation of electric cars are starting to persuade picky consumers. Plug-in cars will soon give internal combustion engine ( 内燃机) models a run for their money.
As well as development on the road, electric vehicles are taking to the seas and skies. Electric boats are among the oldest methods of electric travel, having enjoyed several decades of popularity from the late 19th to the early 20th century before petrol-powered outboard motors took over. Now, the global drive for renewable energy sources is bringing electric boats back. Steps towards electric air travel are also being made, with Airbus and NASA among the organizations developing and
testing battery-powered planes. The experiments could soon make commercial (商业的) electric flight a reality.
Electric vehicles do not produce any emissions (排放). If the US could replace 87 percent of its cars with electric vehicles, it would reduce the national demand for petrol by 61 percent. However, because of the production processes and the generation of electricity required to charge these vehicles, they cannot claim (声称) to be completely emission-free. That said, as many countries continue to increase their use of renewable energy sources, electric vehicles will become even cleaner.
The underlined word “hurdle” in Paragraph 2 probably means .
A.aim B.Result C.difficulty D.problem 29.Why did many people refuse to buy the electric cars in the past
A.They were very poorly made. B.They were not widely promoted. C.They couldn’t travel at a high speed. D.They were expensive.
What is the function of Paragraph 4
To introduce the history of electric travel.
To explain why the world needs more electric cars.
To describe different ways electric vehicles can be used.
To show why more people have interest in electric cars.
Which is the best title for this passage
A.History of Electric Cars B.Driving into a Cleaner Future C.Problems with Petrol and Diesel Cars D.Best Means of Transportation
D
5G has the potential to disrupt a huge number of industries, including one of the world’s oldest: Farming. Next-generation 5G networks can be 100 times faster than 4G, making communication between devices and servers much quicker. 5G can also carry much more data than other networks. That makes the technology ideal for transmitting information from remote sensors and drones, key tools that are being tested by farmers. 5G is also helping to automate farming processes.
UK initiative 5G RuralFirst launched a smartphone app in March called Me+Moo, which lets farmers track a “connected” cow and receive daily updates on the animal’s health and behavior. The system, which is being tested on cows at the Agri-Epi Center in Somerset, England, is funded in part by UK government and supported by the tech company Cisco (CSCO). The cows wear 5G-connected collars that send data to the app on everything from what they’re eating to how they’re sleeping. Farmers can see the information instantly. “This provides peace of mind that the cows are happy, healthy and behaving normally, as well as early warning if they are getting sick, are
pregnant or need to be checked,” said project manager Duncan Forbes.
Yet to make a difference, 5G will first need to be installed in rural areas. The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) predicts that in order to provide for the world’s rapidly rising population, the planet will need to grow 70% more food in 2050 than it did in 2009. “To respond to those demands, farmers will need new technologies to produce more from less land, with fewer hands,” reads one report from the organization.
In 2017, another 5G RuralFirst project became the first in the world to successfully plant, tend and harvest a crop without a single human stepping foot in the field. Autonomous Automatic tractors sowed the seeds, drones with sensors monitored the crops, and smaller machines took samples from fields to assess what fertilizers and pesticides to apply.
Why can 5G help the farming
Because it can disrupt a lot of industries.
Because it can be equipped with sensors.
Because it can carry more information.
Because it can be installed in rural areas.
What did farmers do firstly if they wanted to use Me+Moo
They founded a tech company.
They made sure the cows were checked often.
They kept cows behaving normally.
They let the cows wear 5G-connected collars.
According to FAO, how will the world solve the food problem
People should control the rising population.
People should turn to the new technology.
People should find more and more land.
People should learn to get more money.
How did RuralFirst decide what kind of fertilizer to apply
It dug earth with tractors.
It analyzed the soil.
It employed experts.
It hired drones with sensors.
第二节 (共 5 小题;每小题 2.5 分,满分 12.5 分)
根据短文内容,从短文后的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项。有两项为多余选项。
A majority of the people do not read the classics. Their reasons begin with the language being too difficult and end with the storyline to distant to the present context. Love for classics is obviously not at first sight. 36 We begin as acquaintances ( 泛泛之交) and eventually become close friends with private jokes between us. So how does one approach a classic
Don’t be afraid to be confused.
We get it: it’s hard to get through confusion. It doesn’t feel great when a book makes you feel confused. Every reader has to start somewhere. 37 Instead, be proud of yourself for trying, and get excited about all the new things you’ll learn.
Research, research, research.
38 Researching the author----and the time and place they were writing about can help you situate yourself during tricky passages. The author’s experience,
viewpoint, and historical context might help you make the connections you might not have otherwise.
Just pick the book up.
This step need no explanation. While it’s not hard to just pick a book up, we know how difficult it can be to convince yourself to do so. 39 Take a deep breath, then leap onto the deck (甲板) of Melville’s Pequod or step cautiously through the gates of Castle Dracula.
Remember: there is no right answer.
There is no perfect way to read a classic text. There is no defining interpretation, no singular, exact answer. Your goal as a reader is to discover what aspects and insights are meaningful to you. Enjoy the process. 40 Even if your interpretation of the work isn’t quite perfect, it is still valuable!
Never beat yourself up for not knowing something.
Allow the book to grow with you.
It has some form of historical influence.
Consider what confuses you, read with intention, and think critically.
It is a gradual affair.
Before you turn to page one, do some digging.
Remind yourself that it’s a new learning opportunity.

“I’ve sent my resume(简历), but I haven’t received any emails or heard anything. So, I came here,” Sandra said to Mrs. Cleaver, the manager of the grocery store where she applied to work during her summer holidays.
Sandra was raised by a single mother who worked very hard but still didn’t have much to save for the 18-year-old’s future. So Sandra decided to send out resumes and work as much as possible. Usually, her mother would not allow her to work during the school year because she wanted Sandra to focus on her study. But Sandra insisted and applied at several places. However, this grocery store was the best option. It was close to her house, and her mother wouldn’t worry about her much if she was there.
“I’m sorry, child. We’re just not hiring right now,” Mrs. Cleaver said.
“Please, I’ll do everything. I can work part-time or full-time, and I can do anything that others don’t want to do. I’m also pretty strong, though I look skinny,” Sandra explained eagerly. Mrs. Cleaver gave her a knowing smile. Sandra explained that she wanted to save money for medical school, and Mrs. Cleaver finally nodded.
“Can you start working today ” Mrs. Cleaver asked. Sandra almost hurt her neck while nodding fiercely. She was excited. Mrs. Cleaver took her in the back and gave her a vest and a broom. Her first assignment was to sweep the dirt and leaves. Sandra did it without complaint. Mrs. Cleaver then assigned her to clean the bathrooms, which was a rougher request. But Sandra didn’t complain and kept her word. Eventually, Sandra started getting all the dirty and heavy tasks other employees hated. She did everything gladly for everyone, no matter how difficult and tiring the task was.
Mrs. Cleaver liked her attitude and took note of it. In a world where young people of her age wanted to become Internet stars, it was nice to see someone enjoy honest hard work.

续写词数应为 150 左右;
请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。
