Have you ever bought anything that you can’t touch, or see Nowadays, virtual products have become a rising trend on Taobao.
On June 9, the topic of “Have you bought virtual mosquitoes (蚊子) for your friends” started a discussion on Weibo. If you buy virtual mosquitoes for your friend, someone will add your friend on WeChat and buzz (嗡嗡叫) to them by word simply for fun.
This is just one of the examples of virtual products. There is also a “virtual tree hole”. This means that you can pay for someone to listen to you talk your life. “Virtual supervision (监督)” is when you need someone to keep an eye on you if you can’t study or read carefully. The price is usually from 10 yuan to several hundred yuan, depending on different needs.
Under the increasing pressure of studying, working and relationships, more people want to find ways to lower their stress and keep themselves happy.
“Some secrets can’t be shared with family and friends. Talking to strangers is a better way for me,” Yu Xiaoyu, 30, who has bought a “virtual tree hole” said. “Also, strangers are more objective(客观的) to look at my problems.” It’s also less trouble for family and friends because they are also busy, Yu added.
However, the experience isn’t always good. Yu met a “tree hole” that didn’t pay much attention to her problems. “It’s a matter of luck,” Yu said. “Sometimes you happen to talk to someone really patient and even professional; sometimes you meet someone who ends up making you feel even worse.”

Oct.16 is World Food Day. The UN started the day in 1979. It reminds people not to waste food and fight hunger.
A number of people in the world still don't have enough food to eat. The food shortage is a big problem around the world. Now there are over 1,000 million hungry people in the world according to the UN. Many children go to sleep hungry, and 15 million of them die of hunger each year.
There are several reasons for food shortage. First, there are more natural disasters. Also, a growing population makes feeding everyone more difficult. Another big reason is food waste. Most people don't realize how much food they throw away every day. The average person throws away 50 kg of food every year. According to the UN, more than one third of all food goes to waste each year.
Over 1,300 billion kilograms of food is wasted each year. The food wasted in Europe can feed 200 million people, while in Latin America 300 million a year.
So think twice before you throw away food. You'd better order as much food as you can eat at a restaurant. If you can't eat all, take the rest home. Some food may not taste great, but your body needs it. Keep an eye on what food you have at home. Don't buy too much. Don't cook too much.
When you throw away food, you are not just wasting the food itself. Resources such as energy, time and water, are also wasted while growing and cooking. So everyone should know that it is important to save food. Saving food is saving ourselves.

Dear Chairperson,
I would like to be a volunteer in Animal Protecting Society.
I am fifteen years old. Since I have several experiences in treating my pets, I believe that I am a patient and helpful boy to care about wild animals. Apart from that, I like reading and cycling in my spare time. To give you more information, I am available on Satudays from 2 pm to 4 pm. I notice that you may require volunteers to create different activities in the society. Luckily, I am confident of making speeches in front of people.
I am looking forward to your positive replies!
Yours sincerely,
Simon
